  • Elizabeth Eby

    DVM

Hey y'all! My name is Elizabeth and I moved to California in 2005 from the beautiful hills of East Tennesse. The change was quite an adjustment! I live with several four-legged roommates: Sandy and Boo - miniature dachshunds and Lily and Chevy - kitties. I have one 3-legged roommate named Sam. She is a beautiful Husky/Shepherd mix. I never knew a three-legged dog could be so strong and agile! When you don't find me at the hospital, I'm usually spending time outside with my dogs or sleeping (like the cats)! My favorite activities include hiking and water skiing or snow skiing. Spending summer days on the lake is my idea of paradise! I also enjoy traveling and really hope to tour the entire West Coast.

    Education:

  • Cynthia Kinney

    DVM

Dr. Kinney was born in Colorado and moved to California several years ago. She attended the University of California, Riverside for her Bachelor's degree, and earned her Doctoral degree from Western University in 2007. She loves working with both small and large animals (there is nothing more fun than palpating cows all day!). In her free time, Dr. Kinney loves spending time with her family and friends. She has two dachshunds named Ernie and Winney-Frances. She also enjoys working on her home, reading, anything outdoors, and traveling. She feels strongly that working with animals makes her a better person, and is grateful for the love and strength animals give to their families.

    Education:

  • Joyce Riehl-Voss, Ph.D

    DVM

After growing up in Los Angeles, I moved to northern California to attend college. I graduated from Stanford University in 1997 with a BA in Human Biology, and spent a few years afterwards doing research and working as a technician in a veterinary emergency clinic. In 2001, I began my dual degree training at UC Davis to get my DVM and PhD in Pharmacology. I graduated in 2006 with both degrees, and moved back to Southern California immediately afterwards. We share our Upland home with our rescued two cats and dog. Jammer is an orange tabby domestic short hair who had been hit by a car as a stray when he was a year old. Karma is a black domestic medium hair who came to be my adoptee when she came to the clinic where I worked as a technician, in need of an emergency C-section. Our dog, Pepper, is a Border collie/German short-haired Pointer mix who had Parvo and was abandoned as a puppy. When I am not at work, I spend my time with my husband and our two sons. I enjoy hiking, SCUBA diving, camping, traveling, music and food (especially chocolate and ice cream).

    Education:

  • Angel Auyeung

    DVM

Having a love for animals and science, veterinary medicine was a natural choice for me after the completion of my undergraduate studies at UCLA. Go Bruins! I obtained my veterinary medical degree from Western University of Health Sciences and completed a 1-year small animal hospital rotating internship in San Diego, CA before starting at VCA Central Animal Hospital. Born and raised in Southern California, I definitely love spending time at the beach and hiking in the local mountains. In my downtime, I also enjoy cooking and experiencing new cuisines with family and friends.

  • Karen Lee

    DVM

Ever since she was a young girl, Dr. Lee knew she wanted to do something with animals. She received her undergraduate degree in zoology from California Polytechnic University of Pomona, and then went to Kansas State University for her veterinary education. She and her fiance have 2 dogs (Sierra and Cory) and 2 cats (Faceman and Mogwai) at home. In her spare time, she loves to spend time with her friends and family, enjoys reading, movies, the outdoors and of course eating!! Dr. Lee definitely considers herself a foodie and loves trying new food and restaurants. Dr. Lee also loves practicing yoga on a daily basis and hopes to certified yoga instructor one day!.
